PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform energy-saving operation using a refrigerant used in a supercritical state in a refrigerating cycle device. SOLUTION: This refrigerating cycle device is composed of a main compressor 1, an expander 3, an auxiliary compressor separately installed upstream of the main compressor, and a use side heat exchanger 5 and a heat source side heat exchanger 4. A refrigerant used in the supercritical state such as carbon dioxide is used as the refrigerant. The auxiliary compressor is driven using recovery energy by the expander.
