PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which allows decrease of dispersion in output of an air flow meter, even if a straight part and a funnel-shape part cannot be provided. SOLUTION: (1) An air cleaner 10 is provided with a flow passing plane 22c roughly orthogonal to a main flow at a position on the downstream of an element 50 and the upstream of an outlet part 40. A rib 60 having a shape almost mutually equal with respect to any flow passages with individually different lengths from the flow passing plane 22c to an inlet 41 of the outlet part 40, is mounted on the downstream to the flow passing plane 22c and the upstream to the outlet part 40. (2) In the air cleaner 10, air flow passing through the flow passing plane 22c is placed next to one end side in a width direction of the flow so as to flow out of the outlet part 40. In the rib 60, a notch 63 is provided to the portion far away from the outlet part 40 in the width direction of the air flow passing through the flow passing plane 22c to hit against the rib 60.
