PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a recording head capable of driving and controlling a huge number of recording elements in a much smaller area, a recording head using the substrate for the recording head, and a recording device using the recording head. SOLUTION: The substrate for the recording head is composed as follows. A plurality of ink supply channels are provided in parallel to each other. The substrate for the recording head has a plurality of recording element rows, which are composed of a plurality of the recording elements respectively arranged along a plurality of the ink supply channels, a plurality of drive control circuits, which are arranged to a region between a plurality of the ink supply channels and which drive and control a plurality of the recording element rows respectively, and a common wiring part, which is arranged to the region between a plurality of the ink supply channels and which is shared by a plurality of the drive control circuits.
