PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of images due to a transfer amount change, floating of a sheet material or the like brought about when a leading end of the sheet material is caught between a pair of transfer rollers of a carry-out part or when a rear end of the sheet material comes off a pair of transfer rollers of a carry-in part. SOLUTION: A horizontal transfer part of a larger outer diameter than that of the other shaft parts is set at one or more points by a predetermined width on a roller face corresponding to within a transfer region of the sheet material of at least one roller of the transfer roller pairs of the carry-in part and the carry-out part. The horizontal transfer part is continuous with the shaft part on the roller face within the transfer region of the sheet material via a tilting transfer part with a tilting face of a predetermined sectional shape. A notch part is provided at the transferred sheet material, which has a tilting end of a predetermined shape from at least either of the front and rear ends in a transfer direction. A leading end position of the notch part corresponds to the vicinity of an intersection between the shaft part of the roller and the tilting transfer part at the time of transfer, and a rear end position of the notch part is present at a position to exceed the horizontal transfer part of the roller at the time of transfer.
