PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handled appliance allowing a worker to easily performing the cleaning. SOLUTION: This handled cleaning appliance 1 is provided with a cleaning member 3 in the end of a handle 2, the handle is made of bamboo, and a part of the handle 2 is provided with a cut 4 in its longitudinal direction. When a force is applied to the handle 2 in using the handled cleaning appliance 1, the handle part provided with the cut 4 is bent into a V shape and the cleaning member 3 is made in close contact with a cleaning surface. When the force applying to the handle 2 becomes a prescribed force or less with its bent into the V shape, the handle part with the cut 4 is returned to its original shape by the rigidity of the bamboo.
