PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spring for reducing production cost, preventing deterioration of durability of a diaphragm, and preventing an outer cylinder from dropping due to vibration even when internal pressure is released. SOLUTION: Each end part of the cylindrical diaphragm 3 airtightly connected with a piston 1 and a chamber 2 having a diameter larger than that of the piston in a reversed posture in an intermediate part. The outer cylinder 6 restricting the expanding deformation of the diaphragm 3 is mounted to the diaphragm 3 by male-female fitting of a recessed or protruded line 7 provided on an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 6 and a protruding or recessed line 8 provided on an outer peripheral surface of the diaphragm in a reversed posture.
