<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text editing device having convenience during operation and sticky function in conformity with the operation for the purpose of the convenience of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The text editing device has the function of, when attaching a sticky, allocating, to the sticky, attribute information of the sticky attached just before, thereby enabling easy attachment of the sticky. The text editing device has the function of acquiring information on a marking place where the sticky is attached, for example, using searching function, and enabling automatic attachment of the sticky based on the information. The text editing device has the function of extracting a comment described in the body of a text to attach a sticky on which the extracted comment is given. The text editing device has the function of managing the sticky in the unit of cases, thereby enabling sticky processing in the unit of cases.
