<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile body cover of which the fitting can be easily performed even in strong wind, and its fitting method. <P>SOLUTION: A housing bag 40 which houses the cover main body 10A of this body cover inside is integrated with the cover main body 10A, and also, in order to temporarily fix the housing bag 40 to a specified location on a body surface 1A, a locking member 41 which is locked to a door mirror 7 is provided on the housing bag 40. Thus, when the fastening member 41 is fastened to the door mirror 7, the cover main body 10A is temporarily fastened to the specified location on the body surface 1A, and even if the strong wind blows while the cover main body 10A is being developed, the cover main body 10A is prevented from being removed from an automobile 1.
