PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector which correctly detects a torque in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A spring 40 is set which expands and contracts in accordance with the torque generated in a rotational direction. A size of the torque is detected by the expansion/contraction of the spring 40. The expansion/ contraction of the spring 40 is converted by a converting member 51 to a motion in a direction of an axle 39 so as to detect the expansion/contraction of the spring 40. An inductance change because a ferrite 48 moves in a coil 49 by a quantity of this motion is detected, so that the size of the torque is electrically detected. |
