摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new suspension system and boy control techniques which improves riding quality by variably controlling springs and dampers to meet road conditions, or enables vehicle body attitude control, in a vehicle equipped with an in-wheel drive system. SOLUTION: This suspension system is provided with an in-wheel motor 10 arranged inside a wheel 1, where the wheel 1 and an output shaft 11 rotate together. A swing arm 20 which can swing in the vehicle front or rear direction is connected to the in-wheel motor 10 with one end of the swing arm 20 attached onto a vehicle body 30 and the other end being relatively rotatable around the output shaft 11. The vehicle body 30 is supported through the swing arm 20. While the vehicle is traveling, rotational speed and torque of each rear and front in-wheel motor are controlled, moreover, the vehicle body attitude is controlled by using swing movement of the swing arm 20 in the vehicle front or rear direction.
