摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power transmitting efficiency of a gear by improving a lubricating oil holding efficiency in tooth flanks to form a sufficient oil film between each of tooth flanks. SOLUTION: When mathematical mean roughness of surface roughness of the tooth flanks is Ra, the maximum height is Ry and a skewness is Rsk, the skewness of the tooth flanks is set at -1 or less, the maximum height Ry is set at 3 or less so that Ry/Ra becomes 6-12. By setting the surface roughness of the tooth flanks in this range, surface pressure strength is improved, and while groove width of a multiple valleys formed in the tooth flanks is formed at a value capable of securing the lubricating oil holding property, and when the tooth flanks are brought in slide-contact with each other, the lubricating oil is supplied from the valley part to the sliding surface to reduce a coefficient of friction in each of the tooth flanks.
