PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method capable of simplifying the structure and the management of a grinding wheel and improving the grinding accuracy, without necessity of using a specially structured grinding wheel. SOLUTION: While rotating a pair of grinding wheels 16 and 21 formed by arranging a plurality of segment chips on the same circumference on a grinding wheel base metal, the grinding wheels are brought into contact with the front surface and the rear surface of a workpiece W to grind both sides of the front and rear surfaces of the workpiece W at the same time.
