PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device capable of efficiently using the thermal energy of a heating member to heat a cooked object. SOLUTION: The cooking device comprises a cabinet with an opening part on top for mounting the cooked object on the upper side of the opening, a grill part mounted on the opening part of the cabinet for supporting the cooked object mounted on the upper side of the opening, a heater part whose front faces the grill part, mounted inside the cabinet for reflecting the thermal energy to the grill part. and a number of reflector members disposed at prescribed positions around the back of the heater part and separately attached with prescribed gaps in-between for forming an air layer between adjacent members. Far infrared rays generated in the rear of the heater part is reflected forward, and the rearward transmission of heat generated from the heater part is prevented by the air layer.
