METHOD FOR INSERTING WATERMARK INTO IMAGE AND A DIGITAL VIDEO STORAGE DEVICE USING METHOD THEREFOR, CONCERNED WITH CONFIRMING WHETHER AN IMAGE IS FORGED

PURPOSE: A method for inserting watermark into image and a digital video storage device using the method therefor are provided to insert a random sequence which circularly shifts an original pseudo random sequence into an image as a watermark. CONSTITUTION: An image data processor(110) converts an analog image signal into a digital image signal. A watermark generator(140) generates a watermark to be inserted into a digital image by using information generated from a fixed information generator(120) and a temporary information generator(130). A compression/watermark inserter(150) compresses the digital image while inserting the watermark into the image. An image data processor(160) releases the compressed image, and converts the released digital image into an analog image. A network connector(170) transmits data to a network to store/observe the compressed digital image in a remote place. An image storage(180) stores the compressed digital image.
