PURPOSE: A device for inputting Hangul, and a communication terminal device using the same are provided to promptly input Hangul with one hand by assigning vowels to keys corresponding to geometrical shapes of vowels and assigning frequently-used consonants to other keys adjacent to the vowels. CONSTITUTION: A vowel input key is formed of five keys arranged in a cross shape. Vowels are assigned to an upper key, right key, lower key, and left key in the first input priority. Vowels are assigned to the upper key, right key, lower key, and left key in the second input priority. Frequently-used consonants are assigned to consonant input keys adjacent to upper and right keys, right and left keys, lower and left keys, and left and upper keys.
