<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of separating sheets certainly one by one without causing the leading edge of each sheet to be turned up. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device is equipped with a feed roller 4 to be in pressure contact with sheets 2 stacked on a bottom plate 1 and pay them 2 off to a separation part furnished with an inclining member 6 having a slope 6a which is in pressure contact with the feed roller 4 by a nip forming part and where the leading edge in the payoff direction of each sheet 2 runs against, and the sheets 2 paid off toward the separation part by rotating the feed roller 4 are separated one by one by the slope 6a of the inclining member 6, wherein the surface roughness Ra of the slope 6a (center line mean roughness) is restricted to 1.6a or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
