<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system for a vehicle capable of shortening a starting time of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: A power generator 1 is connected with a first battery 2 with high generating voltage, and a starter 6 is connected with a second battery 3 with generating voltage lower than the first battery 2. The first battery 2 and the second battery 3 are connected by a charging circuit 7 for charging the second battery 3 from the first battery 2, and an assist circuit 8 for supplying power to the starter 6 by the second battery 3, and assisting the power from the first battery 2 to the starter 6. By this constitution, after energization is started to the starter 6 by a second battery 3, power is assisted by the first battery 2 at a predetermined timing, and output of the starter 6 is increased, so that the engine can be started more early. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
