PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the enjoyability of a photographed image, and to make a highly enjoyable image available on all terminal equipment even when the specifications of an image reproducing terminal are different. SOLUTION: This image generating method comprises an image display resource information acquiring step, a moving image generating program selecting step, a still image configuration information acquiring step and a moving image generating step. The image generating method is provided to generate a highly enjoyable moving image from one image. Furthermore, image display resource information such as a display picture size or processing capability is acquired, and the moving image is generated from the image such as a photograph according to that.
