PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect ambient light in an OLED display. SOLUTION: The OLED display includes a substrate, a display area formed by arraying addressable OLEDs formed on the substrate, and an optical sensor which is a thin and long optical sensor arranged on the substrate along an edge of the display area and responds to ambient lighting to generate a feedback signal corresponding thereto, and the thin and long optical sensor has a 1st conductive electrode and a 2nd conductive electrode which extend along the length of the sensor.
