PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection foam molding method for obtaining an injection-molded product having good appearance using a screw of which the length is equal to that of a usual injection molding machine as it is. SOLUTION: Back pressure higher than the supply pressure of a foaming gas is applied in a gas impregnation process for supplying the foaming gas to a molten thermoplastic resin to sufficiently dissolve/knead the injected gas and the molten resin even if the metering/plasticizing part of the screw is short. Therefore, a foamed molded product can be obtained by the screw of which the length is equal to that of a usual injection molding machine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
