PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the improved packing easy to be manufactured, having high mechanical strength, and while being restricted in generation of friction. SOLUTION: This packing for sealing a rotating shaft or a rod to be reciprocated has a seal main body, which is provided with a sealing seal surface or a seal edge.
