PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a flame-retardant adhesive tape having good water resistance and corrosion resistance, free from the dissolution and decomposition of a flame retardant in an adhesive layer and exhibiting good adhesive properties. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant adhesive tape is produced by adding the flame retardant to an emulsion adhesive obtained by the emulsion polymerization of a monomer component containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer and a monomer containing a polar group and applying the produced emulsion adhesive to a substrate. The flame retardant contains the microencapsulated flame retardant such as a microencapsulated halogen compound, a microencapsulated halogenated phosphoric acid ester compound, a microencapsulated phosphoric acid ester compound and a microencapsulated phosphazene compound.
