PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage of an elevator which is easily assembled in a hoistway. SOLUTION: In the cage of the elevator, a fitting plate 2 is fitted to an edge part of a car floor 1 by the work on a surface of the car floor 1, and a back plate 13 of a wall panel 10 is disposed facing the fitting plate 2. A head part 16 of a locking pin 14 is fitted in a large diameter part 4 of an attachment hole 3 of the fitting plate 2, the wall panel 10 is slidably moved in the horizontal direction, and a base part 15 of the locking pin 14 is locked to a groove hole 5 of the attachment hole 3. Next, the wall panel 10 is erected successively via the locking pin 14 and the attachment hole 3. The wall panel 10 is easily disposed at a predetermined position during the assembly work of the cage in the hoistway, and the workability is enhanced because the number of tightening parts by bolts is small. As a result, the cage can be assembled by the work in the cage for a short time, and the assembly working efficiency of the cage can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
