摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic warehouse capable of precluding the occurrence of collision of a stacker crane 17 with the fork 51 of a fork lift 50 likely generated if the hand-over direction of object(s) P on a load receptacle table 14 is perpendicular to the traveling direction of the stacker crane 17 when the object P receiving/depositing operation is to be made for the load receptacle table 14 using the fork lift 50. SOLUTION: The automatic warehouse 10 is equipped with racks 11a and 11b to store the object(s) P, the load receptacle table 14 for handing over the object(s) P, and the stacker crane 17 to transfer the object(s) between the table 14 and the racks 11a and 11b. The rack 11a is equipped with a first sensing means (photoelectric sensor) 30 to sense a stop of the stacker crane 17 in the specified position (home position). An informing means (work admit lamp) 32 is lighted up when the stacker crane 17 is stopped in the specified position and is put off when the stacker crane 17 is in operation.
