PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily record an image, the elongation of printing paper at printing of which is compensated, on a press plate. SOLUTION: In printing equipment having platemaking functions, a data compensating part for obtaining a compensated image 95b, in which the width in a sub-scanning direction of an initial image 95a is compensated by operational processing, and a controller for recording an image 95c, in which the length in a main scanning direction is compensated by compensating a drawing clock at the recording of the image, are provided. As a result, an amount of operations in the case can be reduced than that in the case that the compensation for the elongations in the main scanning direction and sub-scanning direction of the printing paper is performed only by the operational processing. Further, the controlling in this case becomes easier than in the case when the compensation in the main scanning direction and sub-scanning direction can be performed only by the compensation of the drawing clock or of the mobile clock in a drawing head.
