<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbon composition which effectively induces various functions by using a nano-graphite fiber as a dispersing material. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon composition comprises the nano-graphite fiber of 30-95% and nano-graphite particles of 0.5-50%, where the total of both shares ≥40% of the total of the composition and the ratio of the nano-graphite particles vs. the nano-graphite fiber is 1-60%. These ratios are determined as area ratios observed on micrographs taken by a transmission electron microscope of ≥50,000 magnifications. The nano-graphite fiber having the shape of a carbon nanotube, a diameter of 1-100 nm, and an aspect ratio of ≥3 and the nano-graphite particles having a short diameter of 5-100 nm and an aspect ratio of 1 to <3 are preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
