<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint allowing to visually confirm completion of the pipe connecting work. <P>SOLUTION: When a pipe P is inserted into a joint main body 10 and a fastening member 20 is screwed, diameter of a fastening ring 30 is reduced and the fastening ring 30 bites the pipe P to lock the pipe P in the connecting condition, and while a clearance between the pipe P is sealed. When the fastening member 20 is screwed more from a normal fastening position, the normal fastening condition is maintained till abutment surfaces 14 and 28 abut on each other. When connecting the pipe P, certain fastening is secured by determining a working manual that the fastening member 20 is screwed till the abutment members 14 and 28 abut on each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
