INK AND INK SET

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink, especially an inkjet ink, capable of giving such excellent durability to a printed image that image quality of the printed image is maintained even when stored for a long period, and comprising an aqueous medium, and to provide an ink set containing the same.

SOLUTION: This ink, especially the inkjet ink, is given by dissolving at least one kind of dye in an aqueous medium, wherein the dye satisfies the following inequality: (ε1/ε2)>1.2 (ε1 is a molar absorptivity coefficient obtained from absorbance at a maximum wavelength of a spectral absorption curve given by measuring an aqueous solution of the dye in a concentration of 0.1 mmol/L with a cell having an optical path length of 1 cm; and ε2 is a molar absorptivity coefficient obtained from an absorbance at a maximum wavelength of a spectral absorption curve given by measuring an aqueous solution of the dye in a concentration of 0.2 mol/L with a liquid crystal cell having an optical path length of 0.5 μm). The ink set is given by using the ink.
