<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution method capable of recovering a content according to a customer's use status to prevent unauthorized use of a content and protect copyright. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution method of this invention comprises a step (101) that a content distribution server prompts a customer terminal to transmit particulars of an application for watching a content, a step (105) that the content distribution server transmits to the customer terminal a program for installing inside the terminal a watching control part which is solely controlled by the content distribution server, and prompts the customer terminal to install the program, and steps (116 and 117) that the content distribution server prompts the watching control part inside the customer terminal to transmit the status of watching of the content by the customer terminal (106), compares it to the particulars of the application for watching the content (107), and when it determines that the status is not within the range of the particulars of the application, prompts the watching control part to recover and transmit the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
