<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a lengthy article on a fork arm and to pass it through a frontage narrower than the whole length of the lengthy article. <P>SOLUTION: The hand pallet truck is provided with a body part 2 connecting a plurality of fork arms 1 so as to lift them; a pair of side walls 3 fixed to both sides of the body part 2 so as to be forwardly projected from the body part 2; a lifting mechanism 4 for lifting the fork arms 1 arranged between both side walls 3; and a traveling wheel 5 fixed to the body part and a lower part of the side wall 3 and capable of being moved to a direction parallel to the body part or a free direction in a horizontal plane. The fork arm 1 is connected to the body part 2 so as to be turned in the horizontal plane. The side wall 3 has an opening 13 for opening an intermediate lower end. In the hand pallet truck, the lengthy article is inserted from the opening 13 of the side wall 3 into the side wall 3 and the lengthy article inserted between the side walls 3 is lifted by the fork arm 1 and is transferred by the wheel 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
