<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method and a treating device capable of adjusting an ultraviolet ray exposure dose matched with the contamination conditions of water to be treated which is seawater or brackish water and substantially reducing electric consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In the treating method for the seawater or the brackish water for sterilizing the water to be treated containing floating materials and microorganisms by filtering it through a biological membrane beforehand and irradiating it with ultraviolet rays, irradiation is performed by adjusting the ultraviolet ray exposure dose by increasing / decreasing the lighting number of ultraviolet ray lamps corresponding to the microorganismic amount of the water to be treated. In the treating device of the seawater or the brackish water provided with a biological membrane filtering device and an ultraviolet ray irradiation device for successively treating the water to be treated containing the floating materials and the microorganisms, the ultraviolet ray irradiation device has a structure that two or more ultraviolet ray lamps are mounted inside and irradiation switches independent for each lamp or separated for each group of several lamps are provided, and the device is provided with a means for adjusting the lighting number of the ultraviolet ray lamps corresponding to the microorganismic amount of the water to be treated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
