ERROR CORRECTING METHOD, ERROR CORRECTING CIRCUIT, AND INFORMATION REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error correcting method, an error correcting circuit and an information reproducing device capable of performing the error correction of composite coded data at high speed when there are few errors.

SOLUTION: When the error correction of second coded data is performed by a second error-correcting step in the beginning and correction of one or more second error-correcting codes become impossible, the error correction of first coded data by a first error-correcting step and the generation of dissolving location information by a dissolving location information generating step are performed and then the error correction of the second coded data by the second error-correcting step is performed with dissolving correction using the dissolving location information.
