<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a wiring embedded catheter which can be composed at a low cost without spoiling flexibility of the catheter by thumbnail constitution and its production method. <P>SOLUTION: The wiring embedded catheter 10 is composed so as to include a lining 11 equipped with a lumen 11a of a predetermined internal diameter, a wiring section 12 consisting of a spiral knitting wire provided on the outside of this lining 11, and an external layer 13 which surrounds the lining 11 and wiring section 12 from outside. Electric wiring to a movement mechanism, a micro sensor, etc. loaded at the tip of the catheter 10 can be provided easily and at a low cost by providing the wiring section 12 on the outside of the lining 11, the function of the lumen and the flexibility of the catheter itself are not reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
