METHOD FOR DETECTION OF MYCOPLASMA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and inexpensively detecting mycoplasma without requiring a complicated operation.

SOLUTION: The method for detecting mycoplasma in the subject specimen on real time comprises a PCR reaction using a fragment of DNA sequence specific to mycoplasma as a primer and a DNA obtained from the subject specimen as a template in the presence of a fluorescence reagent which intercalates to a double-chain DNA, and detects by using the change of intensity of the fluorescence as a marker.
