PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment control system and an equipment control method to minimize confusion of information even if equipment is operated from a plurality of information terminals.

SOLUTION: This equipment control system comprises a plurality of cellular phones 403 having independent identification numbers, and a projector device 405 having identification number recording means 404 and 406 for accepting an access from each cellular phone and recording the identification number of the cellular phone. It accepts only the operation from a cellular phone 403 having an identification number selected from identification numbers recorded in the identification number recording means. According to this, the equipment control system and equipment control method for minimizing confusion of information even in the operations from a plurality of terminals are obtained.
