PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device whose cost can be reduced and which can be made small. SOLUTION: This portable terminal device 1 has a battery mounting part 11 to/from which a battery 20 is attachable and detachable, provided on the rear face of a main body part 10. The battery 20 has connection terminals 21 for power feeding and is provided with an IC card holding part 22 for holding an IC card 30 in a recessed manner close to the connection terminals 21. The IC card 30 is composed of a SIM, a PC card or the like and is provided with connection terminals 31 for a power source and communication. The main body part 10 is provided with a connector 12, wherein terminals 14 for an IC card which come into contact with the connection terminals 31 of the IC card when the battery 20 is mounted, and terminals 13 for a battery which come into contact with the connection terminals 21 of the battery 20 are formed integrally.
