<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a movable plate which retains contact force of a small card to be utilized suitably and to move vertically without applying a special workmanship to the card, when two kinds of cards different in size of thickness and width or the like are inserted into one and the same compound connector and used. <P>SOLUTION: In the compound connector for the card provided with a connector main body having a card insertion port of which at least one is opened, a covering member to be combined with this connector main body, and a plurality of connectors having a first contact member for a smaller card arranged in the connector main body and a second contact member for a larger card, a switch actuating mechanism having a movable plate and an operating plate is installed so that two kinds of cards different in size can be used, and a card mounting part in the inside of the connector main body is switched by the switch actuating mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
