PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural ventilation system, which can realize both the reduction of a harmful chemical-substance concentration and the reduction of an indoor temperature effectively and in which even a burglarproof side is also taken into consideration. SOLUTION: In the natural ventilation system, the outside air is taken into a room from one opening sections (3) for a natural ventilation formed to the wall surface (2) of the room (1) while discharging the indoor air from the other opening sections (3) for the natural ventilation formed to the wall surface (2) using the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the room. The opening sections (3) and (3) have required effective opening areas capable of adjusting the indoor harmful chemical-substance concentration and the indoor temperature at proper values while being opened at all times as controlling the intrusion of persons into the room from the opening sections (3) and (3), and these opening sections (3) and (3) are formed at the upper position and lower position of one wall surface (2) of the room (1) respectively.
