摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly radiate a large amount of heat by conducting heat generated by an optical pickup to a member having a heat capacity much larger than that of an optical pickup main body. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a semiconductor laser 82 as a light source, an objective lens 83, a photodetector and an optical system for forming a predetermined optical path in a moving base 81 supported on a mechanical chassis 50 to move in the radial direction of a rotating disk recording medium 40, an optical pickup 80 constituted to apply a light from the light source to the disk recording medium by by objective lens and to detect a return light reflected on the recording surface of the disk recording medium by the photodetector, and a metal base member 60 on which the mechanical chassis are directly or indirectly supported. A flexible and heat-conductive sheet having flexibility to follow the movement of the optical pickup with respect to the base member and heat conductivity, is thermally connected between the optical pickup and the base member by, e.g., a graphite sheet 110.
