PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooking pot producing a favorable convection inside a cooking pot and favorably cooking materials to be cooked in the pot. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooking pot has a pot bottom member 1 in the bottom of the cooking pot formed of a magnetic metal plate 3. The metal plate 3 is formed with, for example, slit holes 4a and 4b or arbitrary shape, dimension and number, so that the extent of an eddy current generated in the pot bottom member 1 is adjusted according to the shape, dimension and number of the slit holes 4a and 4b.
