PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel occluder used for coronary artery bypass surgery that is lightweight, easy to take and turn around, and facilitates the surgery. SOLUTION: The blood vessel occluder 1 has a notched ring-shaped hook 2 having an opening 2A to introduce a blood vessel on the peripheral surface, a balloon 3 arranged in the hook 2, a tube 4 to supply a fluid to expand the balloon 3 that is connected to the balloon 3, and a stylet 5 detachably supporting the hook 2 at the tip. By pressing a blood vessel introduced into the hook 2 against the inside of the hook 2 by expanding the balloon 3, the occluder closes the blood vessel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
