APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING CARBON DIOXIDE IN COKE OVEN GAS AND AVOIDING CARBONATES BY REACTION BETWEEN SODIUM HYDROXIDE AND CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE: To prevent closing of bubble cap tray of ammonia distillation column and closing of pores of catalyst in desulfurization facility by controlling capturing amount of carbon dioxide in hydrogen sulfide capturing column, thereby preventing carbonates from being produced by reaction between sodium hydroxide and carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for capturing carbon dioxide in coke oven gas in a coke oven gas refining facility comprising ammonia water storage tank (400), ammonia distiller (300), hydrogen sulfide capturing column (100) and ammonia capturing column (200), the apparatus further comprises a carbon dioxide analyzer (202) installed at a discharge path for discharging carbon dioxide from the ammonia capturing column to gas holder to analyze discharge amount of carbon dioxide; an ammonia water pipe (300c) from which a plural inlets are branched off according to height of the hydrogen sulfide capturing column, wherein ammonia water flows in the hydrogen sulfide capturing column from the ammonia distiller through the inlets; an ammonia water analyzer (320) installed on the ammonia water pipe to analyze concentration of ammonia water flown in the hydrogen sulfide capturing column; and a computer (10) for determining the inlets for flowing ammonia water in the hydrogen sulfide capturing column according to analysis results of the carbon dioxide analyzer.
