PURPOSE: Provided is a composition for promoting hair growth which contains as an active ingredient apricot seed oil facilitating effect on the induction of growth phase of hair. CONSTITUTION: The composition for promoting hair growth is characterized by containing 0.01-10 wt.% of apricot seed oil based on the total weight of the composition. Therefore, the composition prevents depilation and promotes hair growth.
