PURPOSE: A control apparatus for reducing a peak current is provided to prevent an operation error due to the peak current, by enabling a plurality of main word lines and a plurality of sense amps sequentially. CONSTITUTION: The control apparatus includes a bank control unit(400) which senses an operation of a memory bank due to a refresh command, and enables a plurality of word line enable signals in sequence using an internal voltage, and enables a plurality of sense amp enable signals in sequence using an external power supply voltage. The bank control unit includes a decoder control unit(410) sensing the operation of the memory bank and enabling the plurality of word line enable signals and a sense amp control unit(420) enabling the plurality of sense amp enable signals using the external power supply voltage.
