摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a cassette holder with respect to a sub chassis and a main chassis with high accuracy in a magnetic recording and reproducing device which winds a tape around a rotary head cylinder to input and output a signal and is provided with the main chassis and the sub chassis that performs reciprocating motion.

SOLUTION: This magnetic recording and reproducing device is realized, wherein the sub chassis and the main chassis are not twisted by the reaction force of a spring for raising the cassette holder by engaging a holder engaging part provided in the main chassis with a main chassis engaging part provided in the cassette holder at a tape extraction position.
