<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover lock mechanism which is applied to household electric appliances and electronic, information products and especially applied to a lock of a cover of a computer case. <P>SOLUTION: The cover lock mechanism is attached to a cover and constituted so that the cover is locked to a cover frame. In the cover lock mechanism, lock is completed by sliding a slide of the cover in the horizontal direction by a guiding work of a cum by rotating a handle rotation shaft of the cover first and further engaging an engaging means provided to the slide into a corresponding engaging means of the cover frame. Thus, speed for horizontally transferring the slide forms directly proportional relation with a rotation angle of the handle rotation shaft by a cum rotary action and an event with insufficient application of force is not generated when the cover handle rotating shaft is rotated. In addition, the cover lock mechanism has simple structure, does not require a large quantity of screws, efficiently reduces the number of components and enhances convenience of attachment and detachment of the lock mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
