<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular telephone starting device which starts a vehicular telephone under a state that the ignition switch of a vehicle is being turned off, and a telematics system equipped with the vehicular telephone starting device. <P>SOLUTION: The telematics system 1 is equipped with the vehicular telephone 10 installed on an automobile, an air pressure sensor 21 for detecting a variation in the air pressure of a tire, a controller 22 which starts the vehicular telephone 10 under the state wherein the ignition switch of the automobile is being off based on the detection information detected by the air pressure sensor 21, and a starting device 20 having a transmitter 23 and a receiver 24 which perform wireless transmission for the detection result by the air pressure sensor 21 between the tire side and the controller 22 side. When the air pressure sensor 21 detects a variation in the air pressure of the tire, the controller 22 starts the vehicular telephone 10 based on the detection result, and the started vehicular telephone 10 performs wireless communication through a telephone circuit between a service center 50 and a cellular phone 60 of the owner of the automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
