<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device having a ring-shaped light emitting part, easily assembled by using component not necessarily requiring high precision, realizing an improvement of productivity and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 1 is constructed by setting a light guide 3 made of a material having high refractive index of which, the shape is obtained by turning the two dimensional cross section of a light guide path 13, taking in the light emitted from a light source 2 at the end of incident side 13a, making the light totally reflected inside the boundary surface between the light guide path and the atmosphere at a side surface 13c formed optionally extend sideward and frontward from the light source, and guiding the light up to an emitting end 13b, and emitting light in the atmosphere from the emitting end 13b, around the center axis to the light source 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
