PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus, in which a plurality of luminescents are arranged in a row-and-column matrix, that displays information, such as characters, with lighting of each luminescent, which allows users to simply input information, without having to input all the character sequences of display information which are desired to be inputted. SOLUTION: Character sequences related to each industry are stored according to industrial classification, a preset character channel of two characters "i-za" is inputted, and then an industry, such as "Izakaya", is specified to be displayed. Next, with the operations of a scroll switch, "Sake", "Beer", "Sashimi" and related merchandises are scrolled, then the merchandise to be displayed is determined by the operation of pushing a determination switch, so that merchandise is registered and displayed.
