PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a primer for a dental material showing an excellent regeneration effect on dentin. SOLUTION: This primer for the dental material contains a collagen-immobilized saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. It is preferable that such the collagen-immobilized saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is fine particles having 0.2-30μm mean particle diameter, and further contains a boron compound.
